Trauma Therapy Intensive Sessions

EMDR Intensive Therapy

We offer intensives for individuals seeking relief from past traumas using EMDR. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an evidence based, highly researched and effective psychotherapy modality proven to help people recover from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders.

About EMDR Intensives

EMDR is typically administered in a traditional 50 minute therapeutic session and is very effective at treating a variety of mental health concerns. However, we have found clients sometimes need more time to reprocess their trauma and negative beliefs in order to successfully move through them. We feel it is important to give clients options for their treatment that is conducive to their healing. Due to the nature of the intensive, we do require all clients participating in the intensive to have a current individual therapist who they can continue their work with.

What to Expect

We offer EMDR intensives in 3 hour blocks with various breaks ($600) and 6 hour blocks with a break for lunch ($1200). Please Note: 50% is due at the time of scheduling the intensive and the remainder is due at the time of your first appointment.

Brainspotting Intensive Therapy

We offer intensives for individuals seeking relief from past traumas using Brainspotting (BSP). Brainspotting Therapy is an evidence based, highly researched and effective psychotherapy modality proven to help people recover from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders. BSP makes use of this natural phenomenon through its use of relevant eye positions. This helps the BSP therapist locate, focus, process and release a wide range of emotionally and bodily-based conditions. BSP is also a brain-based tool to support the therapy relationship. We believe that BSP taps into and harnesses the body’s natural self-scanning, self-healing ability. When a Brainspot is stimulated, the deep brain appears to reflexively signal the therapist that the source of the problem has been found. BSP can also be used to find and strengthen our natural resources and resilience. BSP is designed as a therapeutic tool that can be integrated into many of the healing modalities.
